Sympathy The entire parish was left reeling when news of the very sad passing of Sandra Earley spread on Friday morning last. The Club would like to express its heartfelt sympathy to Sandra’s fiancé Barry and their children Latisha, Jodie and little Layla, to her heartbroken family, her Dad Johnny, her brothers Dermot and Micheal and her sister Louise and to all her extended relatives and friends. Sandra was a huge part of our club, she was a great footballer and a huge asset on the Ladies team. Her huge smile and fun loving outlook on life brushed off on all around her. Sandra was pre deceased only weeks earlier by her mum Teresa and its seems unbelievable that such a nice family should have to go through so much heartbreak and pain. The huge crowds that turned out to pay their respects and all the teams from the various clubs that took part in the guards of honour showed what high esteem she was held in. While we feel that Sandra’s passing leaves a huge void in both the club and the community we know that it is nothing like the void left in the Lupton and Earley homes. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this very difficult time, may she rest in peace. Jerseys We would ask everyone to please have a spring clean and a look in car boots, football bags, outhouses or anywhere you feel that there may be Kiltubrid jerseys lying around as there are a number of jerseys from each set missing so if you find them we would be very grateful it they were returned. Congratulations Congratulations to Ronan Geoghegan who was one of the tiny minority whose work was selected when Fishamble Theatre Company and The Irish Times invited people to write “Tiny Plays for Ireland” for production. His work “A Life” will be among 25 plays staged from March 15th to 31st. The Club would like to wish Ronan every sucess in the future. Birth Congratulations and best wishes to Johnny and Noeleen Mc Govern on the birth of a beautiful baby girl, Jessica.
